Shashi Kapoor is considered a very calm actor, but once the matter came on his co-star, he became red with anger. He gave his temper and he said, which did not believe even after listening. What is this anecdote, let’s tell …
New Delhi. Shashi Kapoor, who was the most plain and decent actor in Hindi cinema, was not only famous for his gentle style and charming smile, but he made such a strong chemistry with many actors on screen that his pair in the hearts of the audience settled forever.
In Shashi Kapoor’s films, there was such a mixture of romance, sentimentality and classic style that her tuning with every actress looked different. She shared the screen with several actresses including Sharmila Tagore, Zeenat Aman, Rakhi, Neetu Kapoor, Hema Malini and Parveen Bobby.
Actresses who see Shashi Kapoor closely and often share screen with him also believe that as much as he was seen in front of the camera, he used to show humbleness in real life. The same thing made his onscreen chemistry real. But do you know that story, when Shashi Kapoor’s anger reached the seventh sky after hearing the screams of Bala’s beautiful actress.
This is the story of the film ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram’ released in 1978. The iconic actress Zeenat Aman was seen with Shashi Kapoor in the film. This film gave the direction to the actress’s career, after which she never looked back. During the screening of this film, he had a very embarrassing incident, about which when Shashi Kapoor came to know, he turned red with anger. Actually, a fan of the actress had done a lot of misconduct with her.
Actually, the special screening of ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram’ was held in Regal Cinema located in Connaught Place, Delhi. When Zeenat Aman and Shashi Kapoor reached there, the reception was caused by the rain of flowers. The crowd of fans was uncontrollable. Everyone was desperate to see Zeenat from nearby. Meanwhile, a mischievous young man present in the crowd committed indecent act with Zeenat Aman. She cut the actress twitch. She screamed with the pain and tried to recognize the man, but the crowd was so much that she could not catch her.
As soon as Shashi Kapoor heard Zeenat’s scream, his blood boiled. He warned the crowd in anger and said- ‘Stay under control, otherwise we will return …’
This incident not only hurt the dignity of an actress, but also exposed the dangerous attitude of crazy fans in the blindness of stardom. Let us tell you that Raj Kapoor did not want to take Zeenat to play the role of ‘Rupa’ in the film. Because his modern look was not right for Rupa’s role.
Raj Saheb wanted to take Hema Malini in the film, but one day she left the studio and ran away, then Raj Saheb understood that she does not want to do this film. After this, Zeenat entered the film.
