The trailer of Srikanth starring Rajkummar Rao in the lead was released on Tuesday. T-Series shared the over three-minute long clip on its YouTube channel. Rajkumar will play the role of visually impaired industrialist Shrikant Bola in the upcoming biopic. The trailer begins with Rajkumar’s character talking about his goals in life among other students. His character wants to become the first visually impaired President of India. The video also details his childhood and the challenges he faced during it.

Once he completes his 12th board exam, he gets admission in the arts stream, but not in science, as he is visually impaired. Rajkumar’s character Srikanth starts a fight against the education system along with his teacher Jyotika. The trailer then shows how he gets admission into four top universities around the world.
After this, Rajkumar’s character Srikanth starts his own startup and provides jobs to other visually impaired people. Rajkumar has played the role of Shrikant Bolla beautifully in the trailer. Alaya F is also seen in the trailer.

Produced by T-Series and Chalk N Cheese Films Production LLP, the film is directed by Tushar Hiranandani and written by Jagdeep Sidhu and Sumit Purohit. It will be released in theaters on May 10.
