Weaving of Water: Paintings and Prints exhibition inaugurated at India International Centre. In this exhibition, the artworks of 15 women artists can be seen for free till 9 November 2025. Entry here is absolutely free for everyone.
Delhi. A special art exhibition was inaugurated at India International Center (IIC), Delhi. Jyoti A in making this exhibition a reality. Kathpalia has a big role. It was inaugurated by famous political psychologist Prof. Ashis Nandy, Director of IIC. N. Srivastava and Padmashree Ajit Kaur did it. A large number of artists, writers and art lovers participated in the program.
Art reflects the thinking and struggle of women artists
This exhibition will remain open to the public till 9 November 2025. In this, the words written by Padmashree Ajit Kaur have been shown along with the artworks of 15 renowned women artists. These artworks reflect the strength, courage and struggle of those women who want to create their own identity amidst the restrictions of society and family.

Artists included in the exhibition include Anupam Sud, Arpana Kaur, Aradhana Tandon, Gogi Saroj Pal, Durga Kainthola, Hemavati Guha, Jaya Sri Burman, Kanchan Chander, Bula Bhattacharya, Shubhika Lal, Nitasha Jaini, Vasudha Thozhur, Aparna Anand Singh, Shivani Agarwal and Manmeet Devgun. Here every artist has told the story of women in his own way in colors and shapes.

Different types of paintings can be seen in the exhibition. Paintings, sculptures, installations and print arts are all types of art present here. Some expressed their views through colors and some through designs and shapes. Made in mediums like oil, acrylic and charcoal, these artworks force the viewers to think deeply. Every painting hung here contains a story within itself. In all the paintings, the struggle of women has been described so well that even the viewers will be stunned.
