Shoolini University Vice-Chancellor Professor Atul Khosla has been appointed as Honorary Enterprise Professor by the University of Melbourne, one of the top 20 universities in the world according to QS.

Professor Khosla has joined a select global group of thought leaders and entrepreneurs recognized by the Faculty of Science of the University of Melbourne to advance global collaboration and innovation-based education, a press release said.
Professor Khosla has made significant contributions in helping Shoolini University become India’s No. 1 private university (as per Times Higher Education 2025) and one of the world’s top 300 universities in citations.
Under his leadership, Shoolini has become a model for research excellence, innovation and social impact in the Global South, the release said.
It may be mentioned here that the Honorary Enterprise Professorship is a rare honor given to global leaders who have made outstanding contributions in the field of education, innovation and enterprise.
Such appointments are rarely awarded, reserved only for those whose enterprise, innovation and social impact are at the highest levels of global academic-industry collaboration.
Speaking on the achievement, Professor Khosla said that the recognition by one of the world’s great universities strengthens the belief that Indian universities can stand shoulder to shoulder with the best globally.
“It also reflects growing collaboration between the global North and South in building a more inclusive knowledge future,” he said.
It is also noteworthy that Professor Khosla is also leading Daskalos, a pioneering initiative that partners with top global universities including the Universities of Bristol, York, Aberdeen and Liverpool to set up campuses in India under the UGC’s new overseas universities framework.
