Shashi Tharoor shares a recipe for his favorite South Indian dish: it is vegetarian and uses simple ingredients like potatoes

Politician Shashi Tharoor attended an event on August 12, where he shared his views on South Indian food, including Malayali dishes, while interacting with Red FM hosts Swati Sharma. ‘My father taught me how to make it’

He explained how he loves a authentic Kerala-style potato side dish from Palakkad region of Kerala and said that it is easy, delicious and perfect for any food. Shashi Tharoor also highlighted her versatility and delicacy, sharing that it can be served with various compatible – rice, roti, puri and more.

He said that his favorite food was asked to share in a Malayali house ‘, he said, “Traditional Sadaya is great. But if you want specific dishes from my house, there were two or three … Urulkizungu upper (potato bustling fry).”

He said that his father, ‘an excellent chef’, taught him how to prepare this ‘magnificent dish’. “My father taught me how to make it because he himself was a great chef,” he said.

Sashi Tharoor’s favorite dish recipe

Shashi Tharoor shared the description of the recipe for this dish, which includes boiling, dying and step potatoes with a mixture of red chillies and onions. What they said here: “First boil the potatoes, peel them, boil them in water with turmeric (turmeric), and salt. Then dice them. And then you toss them, put them in a mixture, put them in a mixture, which you have already done in the mixie for only red chillies and small onions or shallots, small people.”

He said, “(Add) to taste the salt. Some people, if they dare, can also add a little tamarind … My mouth is watering as I think about it. Then you can toss it and sauce it, and of course, if you want, you can redeem it so that you like to do it.”
