What is SBI PO exam?
State Bank of India took its exam for recruitment of probationary officers to fill its 541 vacancies. The recruitment preliminary examination was held on August 2, August 4 and 5 August 2025. This included 100 questions for 100 marks and lasted for an hour.
However, there was negative marking in the examination, so for every wrong answer, the candidate will lose one-fourth point entrusted to that question. If a question is left unanswered by the candidate, there is no fine.
SBI PO 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Mint First told that applicants should be caught Graduate Degree from any discipline from government recognized university. Applicants should also be within the age group of 21 to 20 years of age.
Candidates who were shortlisted in the merit list released on Monday were selected on the basis of the main examination, including objectives and descriptive tests.
Candidates passing the preliminary examinations on Monday will now need to clear the final phase – step 3 – where applicants will have to complete a combination of psychometric testing, group exercise and a personal interview.
