Samsung has fixed October 11 on the launch date of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 Special Edition in China. It can get features like Snapdragon 8 Elite Chip, 200MP camera and One UI 8.0.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be launched soon.Samsung is preparing to launch a new variant of its premium foldable phone series. The company has confirmed that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 Special Edition will be launched in China this month at 4 pm on October 11 (1:30 pm Indian time). This phone will be a special edition of Galaxy Z Fold 7, which was launched in India and other countries in July 2025.
Last year, the company launched the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition in China, giving a larger display and a better camera than the standard model. The version had an 8-inch inner screen and a 6.5-inch outer screen, while a 7.6-inch and 6.3-inch display was given in the normal variant.
According to reports, the new fold 7 Special Edition can also come with some similar reforms. It is expected to get a 200MP primary camera, Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset, up to 16GB and storage up to 1TB. One UI 8.0 (Android 16) based interface can be given in the phone.
This variant will currently be launched only in China. This model with codename W26 is planned to produce only in limited quantity (about 4-5 lakh units).

Apart from this, Samsung is also preparing to introduce its first Tri-Fold smartphone by the end of this year. According to reports, this phone can be launched during the APEC summit to be held in South Korea between 31 October and 1 November.
