Actor Deepshikha Nagpal has shown in many successful Bollywood films, including Shah Rukh Khan’s Cola, Badshah, Salman Khan’s companions and others. In an interview with Bollywood bubble recently, Deepshikha opened up with a partner and addressed whether Salman and Govinda were insecure about each other during the film. Deepshikha remembered that while working on the partner, he did not get the script in advance. Salman and Govinda were already well aware of their parts, but were informed by director David Dhawan that they needed an actress who could hold their own with the leading stars. This created significant pressure, as the film included large names, tightly scheduled dates and limited time.
He said, “So for me, it was like filling in interval, ‘You say, I would say that.” Govinda will then add something to the middle, and I had to manage the flow. For example, I improved and said, ‘Garam-garam tea, hot-gray drug addiction (hot tea and snacks are ready).’ I added that line. So it was all impromptu, and it seemed that this rehearsal was done, but it was not.

Asked if there was any insecurity between Salman and Govinda on the set, Deepshikha said, “No, not at all. Salman was very cute for Govinda. It was Govinda’s return, you know. Govinda is a senior actor, and Salman also accepted him. Like, ‘I am Salman Khan.” Never.
