RRB ALP Result News 2024 Live: Where, how to check ALP CBT 1 result when declared

Railway Recruitment Board has not yet announced the RRB ALP Result 2024.

Shortlisting of candidates for CBT 2 will be done RRB-wise and community-wise on the basis of their normalized marks and merit in CBT 1.

Minimum passing percentage for eligibility

UR & EWS: 40%

OBC (NCL): 30%

SC: 30%

ST: 25%

CBT 1 is the only screening test to shortlist the qualified candidates for CBT 2 on the basis of their normalized marks and merit.

The first Computer-Based Test (CBT 1) for ALP posts was conducted from 25 to 29 November.

This recruitment drive will fill 18799 posts of Assistant Loco Pilot in the organization. Originally proposed for 5696 vacancies, but later the number of vacancies for Assistant Loco Pilot was increased to 18,799 in view of “additional demand received from zonal railways”.

There are five stages in the selection process. The first two computer based tests are- CBT 1 and CBT 2. The third stage will be Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT). This will be followed by Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination (ME).

Negative marking will be used in both CBT 1 and 2. If any answer is wrong, one third of the total marks allotted to the question will be deducted. There will be no negative marking in CBAT.

The answer key was released on December 5, 2024 and the last date to raise objection was till December 10, 2024.

The exam was held on 25, 26, 27, 28 and 29 November 2024.

When declared, candidates who have appeared for CEN 01/2024 (ALP) CBT 1 examination can check the result on the official website of the RRB under which they have applied.
