Yes, definitely, when you have been doing TV for a long time, there is already a certain acceptance by the audience of that medium and hence, it is always difficult and a brave move to step out of your comfort zone and enter an unknown territory.”
However, the actor doesn’t hesitate to admit that it has been a tough ride. “It is difficult but if you have full faith and belief in yourself and know what you are doing then nothing is impossible. If you have clarity about your vision and how you are trying to pursue things, eventually things work in your favour and I would say the start of my film career is definitely a positive proof of that. I am now looking forward to working harder and being more motivated to do even better work in cinema,” Desai asserts.
Further, he revealed that there are several Bollywood as well as OTT projects in the pipeline, but he is not at liberty to talk about them right now. “Yes definitely, there is a lot happening in the pipeline. While some projects have been finalised, some are in the middle of discussions. Obviously, I am not in a position to talk about it until there is an official announcement. But yes, there is a lot happening and I am really excited about this phase as an actor,” the 38-year-old revealed.
Meanwhile, Desai also shared a post on his social media with pictures of his recent meeting with Transport and Road Minister Nitin Gadkari in Delhi. “Well, it went quite well and honestly, it went smoothly. He is one of the best and most respected leaders of our country and the great work he has done is visible to everyone. We need more great people like him. It was an honour and a privilege to meet him. He is extremely cordial and humble and has no pretensions about himself,” he told us, without revealing much about his visit.
“I don’t know if I should tell people too much about it or not. But yes, being in Delhi, it was definitely possible. Efforts were being made for a long time and finally it worked out. God blessed me with good luck and the right people who helped me and I just want to think about how positively I have moved forward after meeting them,” the actor concluded.
