Director Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan is one of the most awaited projects. The shooting of this film starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles is currently going on. Actor Ajinkya Dev took to Instagram to share his excitement about starring in the project. ‘I am playing an important role in Ramayana’
While the makers of Ramayan have been tight-lipped about the project, the actor and other team members have been sharing small details. Ajinkya confirmed his participation in the film by sharing a selfie taken with Ranbir. He also noted how he has been working with the Kapoor family recently (with Neetu Kapoor in Letters to Mr. Khanna and Karisma Kapoor in Brown).
He wrote, “So now for the clarification on this photo…excited to play a wonderful role in a magnum opus film Ramayan with RK and it has been an amazing year and a half since I first shared the screen with Neetu Singh Kapoor ma’am . With Karisma Kapoor for a web series and now with Ranbir Kapoor.
Ranbir, Sai’s first look leaked!
The first look of Ranbir and Sai as Ram and Sita has recently been leaked from the sets of the film. In the pictures, both can be seen wearing traditional attire. Ranbir is following a strict workout regimen to play his character.
Celebrity fitness trainer Shivoham had earlier shared glimpses of the actor’s fitness journey on his Instagram account, writing, “It was all over three years of hard work. Nothing is ever achieved by adopting shortcuts in life. Clarity and vision of the end goal is essential along with a properly planned and structured program to reach that goal. Sunny Deol, Lara Dutta and Arun Govil are also rumored to be involved in this project.
Prior to Nitesh, Om Raut had attempted to adapt Ramayana to be big-screen with Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan-starrer Adipurush.
