The actor addressed the controversy in a recent interview with the Times of India and expressed regret.
Ram says, ‘As a charge,’
“Let me start by saying that whatever I have accused of saying, I have said this. So, the fact is that I am accused. I will deal with it immediately.
Denicing the situation more deeply, Rama acknowledged the influence of his words, especially on the young members of the team.
“The comments I have made have come from a harmless place, but the bottom line is that the members of the team who are half my age, got angry, and it is not acceptable. Not only my fans, I have my son, who sees me and learns to me. I want to tell everyone that OTT platform thought that some things are wrong and my decision is wrong. I am going to find a way to apologize from each of the team members who were angry at the individual level that day, “Ram said.
Ram’s comments during Mistry campaign
During the media campaign for mystery held at Mumbai Hotel last Thursday, Ram participated in several interviews as part of the press interaction. The actor allegedly joked for kissing a male member of the show’s marketing team and made a comment that his mother should “sleep” instead of imagining her.
In addition, Ram made a comment compared to an interview experience to feel “gang rape” in front of a journalist and referred to sexual positions in his comments. The actor also commented on the clothes of some female crew members at the venue, saying, “If they are in my sight, how can I not see?”.
