How to make Green Pea Kachori,

Material-

For the filling:
Peas (green peas) – 1 cup
Green chilli – 4
Garlic – 7-8 cloves
Oil – 2 spoons
Cumin – 1/2 teaspoon
Asafoetida – 1/4 teaspoon
Salt – as per taste
Turmeric powder – 1/3 teaspoon
Coriander powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Dry mango powder – 1 teaspoon

For the dough:
Wheat flour – 1 cup
Flour – 1 cup
Salt – as per taste
Oil – 4 spoons

For frying:
Oil – as required

Method-
To prepare the stuffing, first grind peas, green chillies and garlic and make a coarse paste. Now heat 2 spoons of oil in a pan, add cumin and asafoetida in it. Now add paste to it and fry. Add turmeric, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt, and dry mango powder. Cook until the mixture dries and cool.

To prepare the dough, mix wheat flour, maida, salt and oil in a vessel. Knead a soft dough with lukewarm water and keep it covered for 20 minutes.

Now to make Kachori, make small balls of dough. Fill each ball with pea filling and roll it gently. Heat oil in a pan and fry the kachoris until they turn golden.
