The National Testing Agency (NTA) will open the application form reform window for the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination.AISSEE 2025) Today, 26 January. Candidates who have applied for testing within the time limit can change their form by 28 January at questions.nta.ac.in/aissee/.
The expanded application window for AISSEE 2025 ended at 5 pm on 23 January.
The examination will be conducted offline using OMR sheets in 190 cities across India.
Detailed schedule of the examination and date of issuing admit card will be announced later.
The age of the candidates should be 10-12 years on 31 March to sit in the AISSEE class 6 entrance examination. This means that he should be born between 1 April 2013 to 31 March 2015 (both days).
Girls candidates may be eligible for admission in class 6 in all military schools.
Candidates who are between 13 and 15 years of age on 31 March 2025 (ie who were born between 1 April 2010 to 31 March 2012) are eligible to sit in class 9 entrance examination.
Applicants have to pass class 8 from a recognized school to sit in class 9 examination.
There will be 125 questions in class 6 entrance examination. The paper will include four subjects: language, mathematics, intelligence and general knowledge. There will be 125 questions of 300 marks in the examination.
Each question in language, intelligence and general knowledge sections will be of two digits, which means that the total marks in these sections will be 50.
There will be 50 questions of 150 marks in mathematics.
There will be 150 questions of 400 marks in class 9 question paper.
The subjects in class 9 examination are mathematics, intelligence, English, general science and social science.
The mathematics section will have 50 questions, each of which will be of 4 marks.
The remaining four sections will have 25 questions, each will be of 2 marks.
