Not shy, that’s for sure!
Indian badminton legend PV Sindhu will tie the knot with her experienced technocrat Venkat Dutt Sai on December 22 in Udaipur. A week before the big day, the two officially exchanged rings in an intimate ceremony. Quoting Kahlil Gibran, Sindhu wrote, “When love beckons you, follow it, for love gives nothing but itself.”
When she’s never missing out on making India proud with her exploits in sports, it doesn’t take much to see that she really loves wearing colourful, personality-packed fits. This brings us to our main point, the fact that Sindhu will probably be a totally maximalist bride for her big day. Wondering what palettes and silhouettes she’ll lean toward? Well, here’s her projected mood board!
lots of color
Pink, blue, yellow – you name it, she’s wearing it. In fact, not too long ago, she wore this stunning heavily embroidered Mrinalini Rao lehenga, paired with a jewel-encrusted layered choker for Naga Chaitanya and Shobhita Dhulipala’s wedding.
Embracing the desi princess vibe, Sindhu can be seen in an almost jasmine-coded silk lehenga in sky blue embellished with pink embellishments, which was seen in last year’s Mother’s Day post.
And in what seems to be perfect haldi inspo, this fun and frilly lehenga in pale yellow with strawberry pink and silver mirror work looks so dreamy.
Trouble everywhere!
Sindhu loves her twirls, and what really elevates her Instagram drama is definitely the ruffles.
And Sindhu also loves him. In fact, she has been seen in ruffled sarees on at least two occasions. In the first, she is seen in a bright halter blouse with a navy blue ruffle drape.
The second trend is a more conservative approach silhouette-wise, although the fun and drama increases significantly with layers of ruffles down the body of the saree.
modern silhouette
And finally, we can totally expect Sindhu to choose a silhouette that’s innovative, fun, and potentially fuss-free for at least one of her functions. Take this teal colored organza lehenga set that she can be seen wearing here, which features cap sleeves fitted into the dupatta. We love us some functional fashion moments.
We heartily congratulate PV Sindhu and her fiancé on their engagement!
