Charcha, a Pariksha of PM Modi organized by the Ministry of Education, earned a Guinness World Record for “Most of the people registered on a civil engagement platform in a month”.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s major initiative, Pariksha Pay Charcha (PPC), which has been successfully conducted by the Ministry of Education in collaboration with 2018, has been honored for most people registered on a civil engagement platform, according to an official release in a month.
The official Guinness World Record Certificate was formally presented at a function held in New Delhi. The event was understood by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan; Union Minister of Electronics and Information Technology, Railways and Information and Broadcasting Ashwini Vaishnav; Union Minister of State for Electronics and IT, Getin Prasad; Secretary, Department of School Education and Literacy, Sanjay Kumar; Nand Kumaram, CEO of Mayagov; And senior officials of education and electronics and IT ministries along with other prominent stakeholders.
The record was valid and declared by the official assistant of Guinness World Records Rishi Nath.
This recognition highlights the remarkable milestone of 3.53 crore valid registration recorded during the eighth edition of the program organized on MyGov platform.
Pariksha Pe Charcha is a unique global platform, led by Prime Minister Modi, where he interacts with students, teachers and parents directly. The initiative converts the exam season into a festival of positivity, preparation and purposeful learning, giving the exam time for encouragement rather than stress.
Speaking on the occasion, Dharmendra Pradhan said that under the visionary leadership of PM Modi, Pariksha Pay Charcha has been redefined as a national approach to the examination as a national approach, which was redefined by the Ministry of Education in a statement, by converting stress into a festival of learning.
Pradhan said that in the 8th edition of PPC, in 2025, a total number of spectators worth 21 crore were seen in all media platforms. In PPC 2025, heavy participation was seen as a reflection of alignment with the overall and inclusive education of the country’s collective commitment and alignment with a vicious India.
Addressing the occasion, Ashwini Vaishnav called Pariksha Pe Charcha a unique initiative by PM Shri Narendra Modi that brings students, parents and teachers together to promote welfare and stress-free education.
He said that this Amrit period highlighted a wide range of career opportunities available to the students during this period and said that the Guinness World Records for the highest registration displays a strong public trust in the initiative.
Jetin Prasad also appreciated MyGov for his efforts to make the government more participated. He commented on how the Guinness World Record throws light on how MyGov has taken advantage of the technique to deepen civil engagement and increase the reach of Pariksha Pe Charcha nationwide.
NEP 2020 emphasizes stress-free and joyful learning. It encourages to move away from learning by rote to develop important cognitive skills based on experienced learning. Since its inception, Charcha on Pariksha has developed in a nationwide movement that transforms examinations into self-realization and development opportunities.
Through individual interactions, PM modes address major challenges such as time management, digital distraction, mindfulness and emotional flexibility, which provide practical guidance and inspiration to students, parents and teachers.
The success of PPC 2025 is a collective achievement, and all stakeholders, educational institutions and citizens who contributed to this milestone have been appreciated by ministers. The commitment to further strengthen participation governance and overall education remains stable.
The inclusion of the program, digital access, and innovative approaches ensure its continuous success as the foundation stone of student engagement in India. With each passing year, the PPC confirms the message that the exam is not the end, but a beginning.
