On January 1, 2026, Shailesh Jejurikar will become the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Proctor & Gamble (P&G) to make John Muler a success. Consumer is a global leader in consumer commodities with brands such as P&G, Tide, Ariel, Pumpers, Gillette and Head and shoulders located in the United States.
Born in India, Jejuriker studied at Hyderabad Public School. He received a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Mumbai and later completed his MBA at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow in 1989.
In July 1989, Jejurikar joined P&G as an assistant brand manager for personal health care in India. His career continuously proceeded, managing Skincare brands in India, wearing marketing and directing roles in East Africa, Kenya and Asia-Pacific and proceeding in regional and global leadership roles. His education helped him navigate various markets with cultural intelligence and business foresight.
From 1996 to 2008, Jejuriker played the lead role in the continents, including marketing directors in India and vice-presidents in ASEAN, Australia and Korea-Singapore markets. These roles require marketing strategy, cross-border operational decisions and team-building skills.
In 2010, he became the Vice President of the Brand Franchise Leader for Home Care, North America and Surface Care. He later played central roles for P&G’s innovation pipeline, P&G’s president for North America and head of Global Fabric and Home Care Brand Building.
In 2019, Jejuriker was named Executive Sponsor for Global Fabric and Home Care Chief Executive Officer and Global Sustainability. By 2021, he became the Chief Operating Officer with responsibilities for the enterprise markets in various fields and inspected global operations in technology, sales, distribution, manufacturing and new trade construction.
The leadership of Jejurikar has been identified with their carefully on the impact, stakeholder value and innovation to identify development opportunities by understanding the needs of the consumer. These values directed their decisions in changing brands, business models, supply chains and global team culture.
From the University of Mumbai, a 58 -year -old journey from the University of Mumbai and IIM from Lucknow to Cincinnati’s boardroom shows that a strong educational foundation and long -term vision may shape the leaders.
