Accused passenger detained at airport
According to DCP Usha Ranganani of IGI Airport, this young man had reached IGI Airport late on the night of 11/12 December, where he was taken into custody by the officers of Bureau of Immigration. The accused youth was identified as 25-year-old Dilraj Singh. He is originally from Panchkula (Haryana). During investigation, Dilraj did not have any travel document except the deportation paper issued by the Canada Border Authority.
Someone else’s passport and green card given in SHA
During interrogation, he told that his agent had sent him to the airport with a ticket to Kathmandu. When he reached the security hold after the immigration check, the agent handed him someone else’s passport, Canadian green card and air ticket. With the help of these documents, he managed to reach Canada, but he was caught at the airport by the security agency there and after interrogation he was deported.
