Dr. Vora explains that high-frequency hearing tests available online can help assess the health of your ears by measuring the highest frequency your ears can detect. He says, “Many people don’t realize this, but your hearing actually ages faster than the rest of you. Those high-frequency tests are going on? They’re not just a trend. This test plays sound from high frequency to low frequency, and the higher you can hear, the smaller your ears probably are. I’m 32 and I can hear up to 16,500 Hz.”
