This eight -day journey will start from Kathgodam of Haldwani and reach Jageshwar and Patal Bhubaneswar via Pithoragarh, Dharchula, Gunji, Nabhi village, Om Parvat and Adi Kailash. During this time, passengers will also experience the divine vision of Bholenath as well as the grand view of the Himalayas and the local folk culture.
How many package is there
This time devotees can also choose the option of helicopter service. Helicopter service has been started from Dehradun to Pithoragarh, which has made the journey even more comfortable. However, the helicopter service is not included in the package, but passengers can take advantage of it by booking separately. The package of this eight -day journey starting from Kathgodam has been fixed at Rs 50,000 per person, including all facilities like housing, food, vehicle, guide and inner line permits.
This time double booking
GM Vijay Nath Shukla of Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam told that Adi Kailash Yatra is starting from 14 May. In the first phase, 8 batch has been finalized. Other batch will also be determined soon. This time more than doubled devotees have made booking compared to the previous journey. So far, more than 400 people have registered. This number is increasing rapidly. During the yatra, devotees will visit the holy sites like Parvati Sarovar, Gaurikund, Ganesh Parvat, Pandava Fort and Gunji.
The popularity of this journey has increased drastically since Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Adi Kailash and Om Parvat darshan in 2023. For registration of Adi Kailash Yatra, devotees can apply online on the official website of Kumaon Mandal Development Corporation www.kmvn.in. Booking can also be done by coming to the Kumaon division office in Nainital.
