Apple has launched many new products in his ‘Awe Dropping’ event. This includes the iPhone 17 series, Apple Watch Series 11 and AirPods Pro 3. In the event, the company has also given important information about its new operating system iOS 26 and Watchos 26. Both these systems will work with iPhone 17 and new watch series. This includes many new features, changes in design and updates. Let’s know about the release date of iOS 26 and Watchos 26.

Apple said that OTA (Over-the -AR) update of both iOS 26 and Watchos 26 will be available from 15 September 2025. However, Apple has made it clear that it may happen that every feature should not be for everyone according to the rules and laws of different countries.

Watchos 26 will run only on Apple Watch Series 6 or new models, Apple Watch SE (2nd generation or new) and all Apple Watch Ultra models. To use the watch, the iPhone 11 or a new model is required which runs on iOS 26.

iOS 26, which iPhone models will get updates?

Apple iOS 26 update will be available in everyone from iPhone 11 to the latest iPhone 16E. See below which models will be supported.

New features of Apple iOS 26

The iOS 26 will not just update, but will give a completely new experience. In this, users will get a liquid glass design. This is a new transparent UI that makes the bar, button, menu and icon light and attractive on the screen.

Apple Intelligence, it will get the Live Translation feature, so that you can translate text and audio in real time.

In the Visual Intelligence upgrade, user can take a screenshot of the screen and search directly on it.

Carplay, Maps, Music, Wallet Updates – Experience of apps will be better.
