gorakhpur: Chiluatal, located at the northern end of Gorakhpur in UP, is soon going to emerge as a major tourist center like Ramgarhtal. The administration has also given green signal to the plan to build a lake view point at the other end of the pond. There will also be an attractive center for sitting, walking path, boating facility, food court and shops for shopping. After the construction of this new tourist spot, there will be a new option to travel with family and enjoy delicious dishes.
Construction work of Lake View Point continues
As per the instructions of the Chief Minister, construction work of a lake view point is already going on in the direction of the fertilizer factory, in which 60% work has been completed. Now the aim of the administration is to develop the other end of the pond after Balapar, Tikriya Four Lane, so that the people of that area can easily reach this beautiful place.
Gorakhpur Tourism Department has demanded land for this development. Where shops of ODOP (One District One Product) items will also be built. Along with this, facilities like modern toilets, benches, and gazebo will also be provided.
First lake view point ready by November
The work on the first lake view point of Chiluatal is in full swing and it is being prepared at a cost of about Rs 20 crore. Under this project, facilities like 560 meter long ghat, benches and toilets are being constructed. After the beautification of the pond, it is going to become a new attraction of Gorakhpur, where people will be able to take a walk in the morning and evening and enjoy tea. According to the administration, this point will be open to the public by November.
Search for land for Bhajan Sandhya venue
UP’s 5th Bhajan Sandhya venue is also going to be built soon in Gorakhpur. For this, the search for land is going on in Ramgarhtal area, so that more and more people can participate in bhajan-kirtan. 33,000 square meters of land has already been identified near Chiluatal, while a place is being searched for in Ramgarhtal.
