Jeju Air flight 7C2216 (Boeing 737-800) was coming from Bangkok with 175 passengers and six crew members. The plane was trying to land at the airport around 9 am when it allegedly tried to crash land due to a bird collision. But it failed miserably and collided with a wall and turned into a ball of fire. According to Muan Fire Chief Lee Jung-hyun, two flight attendants, a man and a woman, were rescued from the tail of the burning plane. The head of the local public health center said that he is undergoing treatment in hospitals and his condition is still critical.

Another hospital official said that he was in shock. The second survivor has been identified as 25-year-old Kwon. He also does not remember the accident. He told the doctors that he had pain in his head, ankle and stomach. According to a hospital employee, Lee suffered a head injury and a broken ankle. He is undergoing tests for stomach injuries.
The officer said, ‘It seems that he was very nervous. Maybe they are worried about the safety of the plane and passengers. According to reports, Lee was stationed at the rear of the plane to help the passengers. In this accident his left shoulder and head were fractured. However, he is conscious.
