Nissan magnet’s 1.0-liter naturally aspirated BR10 petrol engine E20 has become obedient, while the 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine was already compatible.
The Nissan Magnet SUV is now fully compatible. The Japanese car manufacturer has announced that the 1.0-liter naturally Aspirated BR10 Petrol Engine Powering Magnite is now E20 complete. The 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol motor which is also available with magnetic, was already obedient. This upgrade comes at a time when the Government of India has vowed to make the entire vehicle fleet according to the country E20.
The 1.0-liter naturally chop the 71 bhp peak power and 96 Nm maximum torque. For this, transmission options include five-speed manual gearbox and five-speed AMT unit. On the other hand, the 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol motor comes out of 98 bhp peak power and 160 Nm maximum torque. The engine is available with transmission options such as a five-speed manual gearbox and CVT unit.
Nissan magnets can get more powertrain options
While Nissan Magnet is currently available with two separate petrol engine options, the automaker is soon reducing the plan to launch a hybrid version of the SUV. In addition, the SUV may receive petrol-CNG two-fuel powertrain. With this broad choice of Paurtrain, Nissan is aiming to increase the appeal of Magit.

Nissan magnet crosses new export milestones
Nissan has also claimed that Magnet SUV has crossed 50,000 units of export mark since 2020. In January 2025, Nissan began exporting Magnite’s Made-in-India Left-Hand Drive (LHD) variants, about 2,900 units of shipping from Kamarajar Port in Chennai.
Later in February 2025, the car manufacturer exported over 2,000 units in the Middle East, North Africa and Asia Pacific regions. In addition, the company sent over 5,100 units of LHD Nissan Magnet to select Latin American markets, with the overall shipment of over 10,000 units of LHD Magnets by the end of February.
