The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) announced a 2025 ranking for higher education in India on 4 September. Facility of five Bengaluru universities in the top 100, IISC finished number 1 for the 10th consecutive year. There is a look at institutions in the top positions of Bengaluru here.
Indian Institute of Science (IISC), Bengaluru: India’s No.1 University for the tenth consecutive year. 42 departments, with world class research and global cooperation, set benchmark in IISC Science, Engineering and Technology Education-A center of Navalad and Excellence.
Jain University: From its establishment in 1990, its current offering of over 200 programs, Jain University, a deemed-to-B university, originally mixes academics with the risk of industry. Known for strong management courses and global outreach, it ranks 62nd in the country.
Christ University: Famous for its inclusion and multi-disciplinary power, Christ NIRF rank is ranked 63rd in 2025. A lively campus, diverse culture and overall education make it one of the most demanded private universities in India.
Bangalore University: With the 65th rank in the country, the state -run varity offers diverse programs and strong research initiatives, serving as a major center for higher education in Karnataka.
University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS): Special in Agricultural Science and Rural Development, UAS ranks 95th among the top universities of India. With strong community engagement and durable farming focusing on, it plays an important role in furthering the future of food and farming of India.
