National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has launched ‘SAATHI Portal 2024’, a free self-assessment tool to help students prepare for engineering (JEE), medical (NEET) and other competitive exams. The website provides study resources in Hindi, English and other regional languages. What is NCERT Sathi Portal 2024?

The ‘SAATHI’ portal, a completely online platform, will be used to prepare for competitive exams, where students can access free learning materials, video lectures, mock exams and expert coaching. It provides comprehensive services to children from different backgrounds and helps in providing free education to the students.

As per the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) rule, the government’s overarching initiative is to ensure that everyone gets fair access to education, including free coaching programs. By making easily accessible, cost-free study materials available through the ‘SAATHI’ portal, the government hopes to reduce the achievement gap and advance equal educational opportunities for children across the country. According to media sources, more than 4.37 lakh children have reportedly been empaneled to avail the benefits of this programme.

Students can choose to prepare for engineering, medical or SSC after registering on the NCERT ‘SAATHI’ portal. After that, they will get access to live classes, tuition, books based on NCERT syllabus and video solutions.
