“I would urge Canadian citizens to urge their leaders to interact with us,” Navarro said in an interview with Bloomberg Television on Friday.

“We were interacting with both Mexican and Canadian and had pure bliss to deal with Mexican,” Navarro said about the trade talks during Trump’s first term. “You know, they were difficult negotiaters, but they were appropriate, fair dialogues. Canadians were very, very difficult, and they have always been very difficult.”
