Koratala Siva’s film starring Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan will release in theatres on September 27 in multiple languages.
Koratala Siva’s Devraa: Part 1, starring Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles, is one of the most anticipated films of this year. Now Jr NTR’s friend, actor Nani has taken to Twitter to wish his ex a huge success for the film ahead of its release later this month. Nani wrote on his X account on Sunday, “Seeing the love the audiences showered on #35Movie last week and the huge success of #MathuVadalara2 this week, it’s clear they were always ready for this. Congratulations to these amazing teams and trusting my dear @tarak9999 and Koratala Siva garu to take this excitement to new heights later this month (white heart emoticon).”
Although ticket sales are yet to begin in India, Devraa: Part 1 has crossed the $1 million mark in pre-sales in North America. The pre-sale is for the premiere in North America, which will be held a day before its release in India on September 26.
About Devara
Jr NTR plays a double role as Devara and Varada, aka Deva and Vaara, in Devara: Part 1. Saif plays wrestling expert Bhaira, while Janhvi plays Thangam. Three songs composed by Anirudh Ravichander – Fear Song, Chuttammalle and Daavudi have already been released.
Devraa is Jr NTR’s solo release after six years and his next film after RRR. At the trailer launch of Devraa: Part 1 in Mumbai, he shared, “I am very nervous as this is my next film after ‘RRR’. Also, ‘RRR’ was with my co-star Ram Charan but this is my solo release after six years, so there is a lot of nervousness that is building up but I am very happy to launch the trailer of ‘Devraa’ in the city of Mumbai as the experience of promoting ‘RRR’ was really surreal. The acceptance of the North has surprised all of us. I hope it is repeated with Devraa.”
The film will release on September 27 in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
