Manika Vishwakarma changed her gown at the last minute
According to a video shared by Adam Gennato on Instagram on November 8, Miss India’s gown was a last-minute decision. Sharing a video of Manika Vishwakarma walking the ramp, greeting guests and introducing herself as the Indian contestant, Adam wrote, “Did you know India’s gown was a last minute choice? The see-through dress was a refreshing choice for her.” The Internet agreed.

Netizens praised Manika for her outfit choice, even though it was a last-minute change. A fan commented, “She is very intelligent in analyzing the situation and making changes accordingly instantly. After all, she is Miss India.”

Decoding of what Manika Vishwakarma wore
The transparent gown is adorned with multi-coloured crystal and sequin embellishments in shades of pink, red, blue, green, orange and purple. The dress features spaghetti straps, a deep neckline, a see-through silhouette, nude panels, a figure-hugging fit and a floor-grazing hemline.
She paired it with dangling earrings, beautiful bracelet and a ring. Finally, tying her hair in a twisted top knot, Manika opted for dark eyebrows, smoky eyeshadow, caramel-brown lips, beaming highlighter, mascara-lined eyelashes and rouge-tinted cheeks for a glamorous look.
Meanwhile, the Miss Universe pageant has recently been mired in controversy following a heated exchange between Miss Mexico, Fatima Bosch, and Miss Grand International president and Miss Universe executive Nawat Itaragrisil during an event in Thailand.
