Actress Manushi Chhillar, who is gearing up for the film Operation Valentine, gave an interesting insight into the process of playing the role of a radar officer in the film. Inspired by true events, Operation Valentine is directed by Shakti Pratap Singh Hada. This film is his directorial debut. The story of the film revolves around the indomitable frontline spirit of the Air Force heroes and the challenges they face to protect the country. Talking about her preparation, Manushi said, “My preparation for Operation Valentine included basic things like understanding the structure of the Air Force, understanding what a radar officer should do, body language, your tone. Were.” Voice and how to give a certain command. These are some things I needed to work on.”
Manushi shared how she ensured to bring authenticity and accuracy to the character, “Fortunately, we had someone from the Indian Air Force team on the set. So, whenever we needed any additional information or wherever I was going, I always had guidance on the set as to how a typical radar officer would do a certain job. So, it was like learning a lot of the basics.”
He also said, “It was not just learning how to portray a radar officer, but also learning what happens in the Air Force, or basic terms like clearance and what types of aircraft are flying. So Just understanding everything was a completely new world. I’m a DRDO kid, so obviously, I know things on the surface, but this was me going deeper into it.”
Recently Salman Khan released the official Hindi trailer of the film. Salman shared a post on his stories on Instagram, which he captioned, “What will be seen! Delighted to launch this exciting #OPVFinalStrike. My best wishes to @varunkonidela07 and team #OperationValentine for 1st March.
The Telugu trailer was launched digitally by actor Ram Charan. The trailer features Varun Tej as a fearless Indian Air Force pilot, ready to take on the enemy, while Manushi plays the role of a skilled Air Force radar officer.
Written by Shakti Pratap Singh Hada, Aamir Khan and Siddharth Raj Kumar, the film will be released on March 1, 2024 in Telugu and Hindi.
