Dhruv shared excerpts from his weight loss diet, which includes rice, roti, bhajji, chapatti, milk, curd, cheese, spinach, cucumber, cabbage, fried rice and potatoes. “From 100+ kg to losing 12 kg, I enjoyed every meal – from rice, bread and vegetables to ice cream, pizza and whey protein – proving that you have to give up your favorite foods to see results. No cutting required! Balance and consistency were key in my weight loss journey.

Junk food during weight loss

The surprising thing is that during this period of change, Dhruv also ate junk food. In an earlier interview with HT Lifestyle, certified nutritionist and founder of ‘Eat Fit Repeat’ Ruchi Sharma had talked about the importance of portion control, especially when we are trying to lose excess weight. “Adding more vegetables and fiber to your diet is an effective way to reduce calories as these are high-volume foods that contain the least amount of calories and still make you feel full.
