Mahindra will add several cosmetic changes and features to the XUV 7XO. It will be launched on January 5.
Mahindra will launch the facelift of XUV700 in the Indian market on January 5. It will be called XUV 7XO. The XUV700 has been a huge success for the brand, and now they want to take it further. A test mule of the XUV 7XO was spotted when it was on our Indian roads.
What design changes can we expect from the Mahindra XUV 7XO?
The exterior of the XUV 7XO will see a revised headlight arrangement. It will feature dual barrels similar to the Scorpio N. These LED headlamps will remain, but Mahindra is choosing a projector setup this time. This change is expected to improve lighting. Daytime running lamp will no longer move downwards; Rather, it will take a U-shape. The fog lamps have also been shifted and will feature a new design.
A new grille will be introduced at the front, repeating the grille design of the XUV500. The bumper will also get a new design. On the sides, a new set of alloy wheels will be added, while the flush door handles and roof rails will be preserved. At the rear, the tail lamp design will be updated, similar to what we saw on the recently launched XEV 9S.

What changes can we expect in the interior of Mahindra XUV 7XO?
The interior design of the XUV 7XO will now be influenced by the XEV 9S. As a result, one should expect it to include the same two-spoke steering wheel with a burnt-out Mahindra logo and a three-screen setup, which suggests that the passenger will also have a dedicated display. However, the steering wheel will be slightly different as it will have tactile buttons. Additionally, Mahindra may also offer Dolby Atmos, captain seats for the second row, ventilation system, front parking sensors and automatic parking along with several other improvements.
Last month, we speculated that Mahindra has filed a trademark application for the name ‘XUV 7XO’. This is the second time that the brand has rebranded one of its SUVs. Earlier, Mahindra had renamed the XUV300 as XUV 3XO. This is not an isolated incident; The brand has also filed a trademark application for the XUV 1XO and XUV 5XO nameplates. As a result, it is plausible that new products with these names may be launched in the future.
