Mahindra and Mahindra have announced that it will increase prices in the SUV and commercial vehicle lineup starting in April 2025. The increase will be up to three percent. The company has cited the increasing input cost and increase in commodity prices among other factors as the reasons for this price adjustment.
Mahindra to increase SUV prices
The company said that depending on specific models and versions, the magnitude of price increase between different SUVs and commercial vehicles will vary. Mahindra is running at the footsteps of other vehicle manufacturers such as Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, Renault, Kia, Honda, and BMW, all of which have announced the price hike for the upcoming financial year.
It is common for automakers to implement price growth at the beginning of a new financial year. This will mark the increase in the second price of Mahindra this year after the last adjustment in January. Price growth will affect all models in the portfolio of the brand, including its internal combustion engine as well as All-Electric BE 6 and XEV 9E.

Mahindra’s SUV Portfolio
Mahindra offers a diverse range of SUVs, including XUV 3xo, Bolero, Bolero Neo, Thar, Thar Rocks, Scorpio Classic, Scorpio-N, XUV 700 and others. Recently, the company launched the Mahindra XUV700 Ebony version, with an all-black design for its leading model. Additionally, it reduced prices on selected variants of XUV700 for March, but these prices are expected to rise again with a three percent increase in April.

Mahindra 6 and XEV 9E delivery begins in India
Mahindra has started delivery of all its electric vehicles in the Indian market. BE 6 and Xev 9E have generated significant enthusiasm. Together, these electric SUVs have made a total of 30,179 bookings, which is the amount. 8,472 crores. The XEV 9E represents 56 percent of the booking, while 6 accounts for 44 percent.
Mahindra claims that the BE6 is equipped with a maximum of 535 km when equipped with 59 kWh battery pack, while the version with a 79 kwh battery is asked to increase the range to 682 km. In contrast, XEV 9E is reported to have received 542 km with 59 kwh battery and 656 km with 656 km with 79 kwh battery pack.
