Voting is to be held in Rajasthan in two phases on 19 April and 26 April.

Preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections are in full swing across the country. While voting is scheduled to take place in seven different phases, in Rajasthan it will be held in two phases, on April 19 and April 26. Ahead of the voting, Bikaner’s Maharaja Ganga Singh University has announced the postponement of the examinations scheduled between April 18 and April 26. 20.
According to recent reports, this decision has been taken to ensure smooth conduct of the voting process. The postponement has also been announced because there is a government holiday in the country on the voting date.
The notification circulated by the university also reveals that the administration will soon release the updated exam schedule for the students. According to the previously released exam timetable, students enrolled in the 2023-24 batch were scheduled to appear for the examinations to be held from March 14 to May 11.
Controller of Examinations of Maharaja Ganga Singh University Rajaram Choyal said that the examinations of many classes including graduation will remain postponed. New date sheet with updated dates will be announced later. For any more information related to this, students can visit the official website of the university mgsubikaner.ac.in.
Apart from this, Rajaram Choyal also informed that the data of students pursuing degree courses from the university till the year 2022 has been uploaded on the official website. By getting the details on the official website, students can mention the same to the administration if there are any spelling mistakes in their name. According to the announcement, the reforms will be done only till April 15.
The 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Rajasthan will be conducted in two phases. In the first phase on April 19, Ganganagar, Bikaner, Churu, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Jaipur Rural, Jaipur, Alwar, Bharatpur, Karauli-Dholpur, Dausa, Nagaur will be casting votes.
While on the second phase on April 2, Tonk-Sawai Madhopur, Ajmer, Pali, Jodhpur, Barmer, Jalore, Udaipur, Banswara, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, Bhilwara, Kota and Jhalawar-Baran will be witnessing the voting sessions.
