The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday attacked the Congress party -led India block protest, which was to wrongly remember the Hindi word ‘Loktant’ for democracy in their protest posters.
Opposition members were seen holding the poster criticizing the situation of democracy during the ongoing monsoon session of Parliament. But the word ‘Loktant’ (democracy) was mistakenly written as ‘Loktant,’, who ridicule BJP leaders quickly.
BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya pointed to the error saying, “This is democratic, not Loktant.” The BJP also shared the poster with spelling error on its X handle.
Jib came as opposition MPs, including Congress leader Sonia Gandhi, staged a demonstration in Parliament’s Makar Dwarf of Parliament on the issue of special intensive amendment of the election role in Pol-Bound Bihar.
BJP spokesperson Shahzad Poonwalla said, “They cannot blame the Congress. They can neither do magic nor save the location.
Congress answers
The Congress responded with the previous video of Prime Minister Modi to read ‘Lokchandra’ instead of ‘Lochetra’.
The clear spelling error removes a debate on social media over the correct spelling of the word Loktantra
One user said that nothing was wrong in the spelling and it used to separate ‘Satyendra’ differently, sometimes as Satyendra.
“It is adobe unsupported font issue. College mein bahut hota that,” said a social media user.
Can not blame Congress. They can neither do magic nor save the location.
A Hindi language expert said that the word was grammally correct as it would also be pronounced as ‘Loktant’.
“Bas humare yahan Loktantra ko aise likhne ki parampara nahi hai. (This can be traditionally wrong. But the pronunciation is the same)The expert said.
