Kid Rock energized President-elect Donald Trump’s MAGA victory rally on Sunday with a powerful performance at Washington, D.C.’s Capital One Arena. Starting off their set with a rendition of Sweet Home Alabama, Rockstar transitioned into their 2022 song V. People are urging unity with songs echoing in the crowd. Before taking the stage, Kid Rock shared his thoughts on the changing energy he’s seen in both Washington, DC and Hollywood during an appearance on Fox & Friends Weekend.

Kid Rock on Hollywood’s embrace of Trump
Speaking with hosts Lawrence Jones, Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhart and Brian Kilmeade, Kid Rock shared, “It feels like the rebirth of our nation.” Referring to the championship fight that also included Trump supporters like Elon Musk, Dana White and musicians, he said, “It felt like in a UFC fight after the election, everyone was together, you know, going in the ring. ,” as reported by Fox News. He added, “It’s just this overwhelming feeling…you’ve heard it a million times, that America is back.”
Kid Rock also highlighted that since Trump’s victory, Hollywood has accepted him as the leader of the country and is not hesitant in showing their support. “After dipping their toe in the water for four to eight years, they now feel it is safe to go in the water,” he said jokingly. I mean, welcome to the party, like I said. It is better to have them on board than not.”
Carrie Underwood, who was considered far from the political scene, surprised many by announcing her performance at Trump’s inauguration last week. Additionally, loyal Trump supporter Jason Aldean and rapper Nelly were also scheduled to play at the Liberty Ball.

Kid Rock believes there’s a ‘total makeover’
During the interview, Kid Rock shared, “There’s been a complete change in the air, there’s been a complete change in everything.” He continued, “[People] Saw for the first time what he did. And when you actually look at the facts and the numbers and how great it was, and from there it gets even better. Emotion is everywhere. Especially if you’re on our side – it’s through the roof. But I think people, all reasonable people, I think, you know, are understanding, if only we had got a reasonable Democrat.”
Kid Rock continued, “Like, it’s okay… we think differently on a lot of things, but if you’re a reasonable person, and I really have to emphasize ‘reasonable,’ because Lord knows that. There are some fruitcakes.”
