Kerala SET 2024: As per official notice, hall tickets will be available from July 17 and the exam will be held on July 28.
LBS Center for Science and Technology has extended the online registration deadline for the Kerala State Eligibility Test or Kerala SET 2024 for the July session. Earlier, the last date to apply was set as April 15, but now it has been extended to April 25. Interested and eligible candidates can visit the official website lbsedp.lbscentre.in/setjan24/ to register themselves.
The last date to make online payment is 27th April midnight. The application correction window will open on April 28 at 11 am and will close on April 30 at midnight. As per the official notice, hall tickets will be available from July 17 and the exam will be conducted on July 28.
Kerala SET 2024: Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for KSET, candidates must have a master’s degree in the relevant subjects with a minimum of 50 percent marks or equivalent grade. Additionally, he has a B.Ed. Should be. Degree in any discipline or equivalent qualification from the University of Kerala. There is no age limit to apply for Kerala SET.
Kerala SET 2024 July Session: How to Apply?
Step 1: Visit the official website lbscentre.kerala.gov.in
Step 2: Tap on “SET July 2024” application link on the homepage.
Step 3: Tap on “Online Registration” link.
Step 4: Now, register yourself on the portal and proceed with the application process.
Step 5: Then, upload the required documents, pay the application fee and submit the form.
Step 6: Take a print of the acknowledgment form for further use.
Kerala SET 2024: Application Fee
General, OBC category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 1000, while SC, ST and Divyang candidates will have to pay Rs 500.
Kerala SET 2024: Exam Pattern
The examination consists of two papers – I and II. While Paper I is divided into two parts, General Knowledge (Part A) and Aptitude in Teaching (Part B), Paper II is a subject-specific examination based on the expertise of the candidate at the Post Graduate (PG) level. There will be 31 subjects to choose from for Paper II. Each paper will be conducted for 120 minutes, and there are no negative marks for any wrong answer.
