A Kerala businessman recently bought a Ferrari Roma to his collection of luxury cars, saying he has “added another horse to the garage”. Known for his passion for cars, Dr Viju Jacob is the executive chairman of Synthite Industries, known as the world’s largest spice extract firm.
Jacob shared glimpses of his new supercar on Instagram earlier this month, writing, “Introducing the newest member of my life: the magnificent Ferrari Roma. It is not just a car, but a symbol of the carefree and joyful lifestyle of Rome in the 1950s and 60s.”
“Its timeless design and unrivalled performance make every drive a breath of fresh Italian air. Here’s to many miles of pleasure, speed and elegance.”
He shared photos of himself and his family with that shiny silver coloured car.

Viju Jacob is the eldest son of C.V. Jacob who founded the company in 1972. Apart from India, Synthite Industries has presence in several countries including China, the US, Brazil and Vietnam.
Viju Jacob owns a fleet of luxury cars such as the Range Rover Sport, BMW M340i, BMW M2 Competition and Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600, pictures of which he has posted on Instagram.
“I have loved cars since my school days. When I joined Synthite, my father gifted me a brand new Fiat car. During my second year in the company, he gifted me a Mercedes Benz on my birthday,” he said. Onmanorama In an interview in 2016.

Ferrari Roma price starts at 3.76 Crore (Ex-showroom) This Italian sports car is a four-seater that falls in the coupe segment. This luxury car has two doors, two seating rows and can seat four people.
This supercar claims to have an average mileage of 8.9 kmpl, depending on the type of fuel and driving conditions.
