While the data on late pregnancies is still developing, the 2022 US census has shown that fertility rate for younger women has declined and increased to older women, indicating that despite previous beliefs and stigma, women are having children later in life.
‘Later pregnancy in life is not uncommon’

Dr. Suri said, “Later pregnancy in life is no longer abnormal, and with the right medical care and precautions, many women experience positive results. Risk for mother
Dr. According to Suri, pregnancy after 35 can take a major risk of conditions such as pregnancy diabetes, hypertension, and preclampsia. He said, “Caesarean delivery is a little more likely to be required due to complications during labor. Regularly plays an important role in reducing the risk by prenatal care and early detection of these conditions,” he said.
Risk for child
