Actress Daljeet Kaur’s troubled marriage with husband Nikhil Patel has been in the headlines for quite some time now, with the actress accusing him of having an extramarital affair. Daljeet’s Qayamat Ki Raat co-star Karisma expressed her support for him through Instagram Stories.
Karishma is in favor of Daljeet
Karishma re-posted a news story about Daljeet’s relationship. The picture read, “Daljeet has taken legal action against estranged husband Nikhil Patel after an extramarital affair.”
Sharing the post, Karisma wrote, “Whatever happened, shouldn’t have happened!!!! My full support is with my dearest friend Daljeet Kaur. This man has done wrong to her, and I will stand by her till the end. Strong women don’t take revenge; they move on and let karma do its work!!”
Daljeet re-shared Karisma’s Instagram stories on his timeline and expressed his gratitude to her. He wrote, “A day will come when Katie [Karishma Tanna]. Thank you!”
However, the post did not appear later. It is not clear if it was deleted after 24 hours or removed from the timeline.

Some time ago, Daljeet had criticized Kenyan businessman Nikhil on social media. Sharing a picture of Nikhil on Instagram story, she wrote, “You are now shamelessly roaming with him on social media every day. Your wife and son returned after 10 months of marriage. The whole family is disgraced. A little respect for the children would have been good!”
Later, Nikhil spoke about the allegations in an interview with ETimes. He said, “In January this year, Daljeet decided to leave Kenya and return to India with her son Jaydon, which ultimately led to our separation. We both realised that the foundation of our blended family was not as strong as we had hoped, making it difficult for Daljeet to settle in Kenya. In March 2023, we held an Indian wedding ceremony in Mumbai. Although it had cultural significance, it was not legally binding. The purpose of the ceremony was to reassure Daljeet’s family about moving to Kenya.”
Nikhil has sent the actor a legal notice asking him to collect all his belongings from his home in Kenya. Daljeet later obtained a stay order against Nikhil, restraining him from evicting her and her baby Jayden, and also forbidding him from throwing away any of her belongings.
Dalljiet married Nikhil in 2023. She was previously married to television actor and Bigg Boss 16 contestant Shaleen Bhanot, with whom she has a son. The two got divorced in 2015.
