Those who want power and style along with mileage will now get the option of new Pulsar N125 along with TVS Raider and Hero Xtreme 125R in this segment. While on one hand Hero Extreme 125R is rapidly strengthening its hold in this segment, on the other hand the launch of Pulsar N125 is definitely going to affect its sales.

Starting with the dimensions, Bajaj Pulsar N125 has a wheelbase of 1295 mm, while Hero Xtreme 125R has a wheelbase of 1295 mm. Pulsar N125 has a fuel tank of 9.5 liters, while the company has given a fuel tank of 10 liters in Xtreme 125R. If we talk about curb weight, the weight of Pulsar N125 is 125Kg, while the weight of Hero Extreme 125R is 136Kg. Let us tell you here that due to its higher weight, Hero Extreme gives better stability on the highway or at higher speeds.
Whose engine is more powerful among the two?

What are the differences in features
In both Pulsar N125 and Hero Extreme 125R bikes, companies have provided features like Bluetooth and app connectivity along with digital screen. You get speedometer, fuel level indicator and tine indicator in the display of both the bikes. Although, real time mileage indicator is also available in Pulsar N125, but the company has not provided gear position indicator in it, which can bother you while riding the bike. RPM meter is also not provided in Pulsar N125.
Apart from this, full LED lighting is available in Hero Extreme, whereas turn indicators are provided in bulbs in Pulsar N125. The company has also not provided hazard light function in Pulsar which is available in Hero Extreme. Hero Extreme 125 has a projector headlamp, whereas Pulsar N125 has only a simple LED headlight.
Which has better safety?
In terms of safety, the option of drum and combi disc brakes has been given in Bajaj Pulsar N125. At the same time, in Hero Extreme 125R, along with combi disc brake, the option of single channel ABS is also available in higher variants. Hero Extreme is the only bike in the 125cc segment which comes with ABS.
Frame, Suspension and Tires
Both Bajaj Pulsar N125 and Hero Extreme 125R bikes have telescopic forks at the front and monoshock suspension at the rear. However, Hero Extreme has been given a thick 137 mm telescopic fork which not only enhances the style of the bike but also gives more stability. Pulsar N125 has 80/100-17 section tires at the front and 110/80-17 section tires at the rear. At the same time, tires of 90/90-17 section at the front and 120/80-17 section at the rear have been installed in the Extreme 125R. It is clear from the tire profile that the Extreme 125R comes with wider tires which improves the grip and balance on the bike.
Who is better in price?
The Delhi ex-showroom price of Bajaj Pulsar N125 is Rs 94,707 to Rs 98,707. The price of Hero Extreme 125R ranges between Rs 95,000 to Rs 99,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
