When asked about the lack of importance of Bollywood in the south, Nani said, “She (Hindi cinema) is original; It (South Cinema) came later. South cinema is now being received recently. Hindi films – Kuch Kuch Kuch Hai, Dil Toh Pagal Hai, Hyderabad and other southern states were blockbusters in the southern states.
