Actor John Abraham talked about how OTT platforms rejected his latest film, The Diplomat, as he “didn’t like it”. Talking with Pinkvilla, John said that the best thing about the diplomat is that people had zero expectations from the film. The actor talked about the studio, OTT platforms and his response to his film. John said, “Faith is disadvantage of the studio. So when a studio watchs a film when he goes and does a round of OTS because a studio wants to reduce the risk by sending it to the OTT channel, when some OTT channels refused the diplomat because they did not like it very good. They did not like it. They took it out.”

He also talked about how people came to him by appreciating the film, seeing the diplomat. “In the case of diplomatic, we have proved the studio wrong, OTTS is wrong, and everyone is wrong. The film released in theaters on March 14 has so far earned 19.10 crore net according to Sacnilk.com.
