New Delhi. Reliance Jio has announced a new subscription plan JioCinema Premium. The starting monthly price of this new plan is Rs 29. Through this new JioCinema Premium plan, users will get an ad free experience in quality up to 4K and customers will also have offline viewing option. Subscribers will be able to access exclusive series, movies, Hollywood, kids and entertainment content on any device including connected TVs.
Keeping in mind the multi-segment consumption in Indian homes, a family plan has also been announced. The monthly price of this plan is Rs 89. Through this plan, contents can be accessed on four screens simultaneously. The company has also informed that existing JioCinema Premium members will be automatically upgraded to the family plan without any additional cost.

What will be the difference between free and premium?
Talking about free content, JioCinema will continue to offer free content like now. That is, like at present, along with other content, users will be able to watch live sports like IPL for free. Whereas exclusive international content dubbed in local language will be unlocked through JioCinema Premium.
That is, if we talk overall, the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) and thousands of hours of entertainment content will continue to be available with ads in the free version of JioCinema as before. At the same time, premium members will get exclusive access to international content in local language. Besides, parental control features will also be provided for safe content consumption.
