JEE Main 2025 schedule out: The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the schedule of JEE Main 2025 on Monday, October 28, 2024. Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 The registration window was also opened for online submission of application form for the eligible candidates on the examination and official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
According to the NTA notification, JEE Main for the academic year 2025-26 will be conducted in two phases. The first session is scheduled to be held between 22 and 31 January 2025, while the next session will be held in April 2025.
“For the academic session 2025-26, it has been decided that JEE (Main)-2025 will be conducted in two sessions i.e. Session 1 (January 2025) and Session 2 (April 2025).” NTA notification Reading.
Candidates should note that the last date to apply for JEE Main 2025 Session 1 exam is 9 PM on November 22 and the fees can be paid till 11:50 PM on the same day.

JEE Main 2025: Exam Structure
As per the NTA notification, JEE (Main) exam will consist of two papers. Paper 1 (BE/B.Tech) will be conducted for admission Undergraduate Engineering Program (B.E./B.Tech) from NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments. It will also be the qualifying examination for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to the IITs.
JEE (Main) Paper 2 will be conducted for admission to B.Arch and B.Planning courses in the country.
The notification further states that the JEE (Main)-2025 examination will be conducted in 13 languages i.e. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
JEE Main 2025: Timing and mode of exam
JEE Main exam will be conducted in two shifts: 9:00 am to 12:00 noon and 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm (IST). Paper 1 consists of sections from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, each consisting of multiple choice questions (MCQs) and numerical value-based questions. Negative marking for wrong answers,

- Each student must submit only one application. Submission of more than one application will result in disqualification.
