Three of the tricity have secured spots in the top 100 in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Examination, for which the results were declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Saturday.

Arnav Jindal, who scored 99.996 NTA score in the session, was the state topper in an examination. He was capable of improving his score by 99.999 in the second attempt and received Air 36 based on his final NTA score. He is a resident of DAV Senior Secondary School, Sector 8 and Khar.
Speaking about his score, Jindal said, “From the first day I was preparing for JEE Advanced. While I set a separate set around a month for the session one month, I spent only a few days on session two,” he said. He has become so well with his preparation that he said that he would end his quota for Saturday, before he celebrates his achievement with his family. He said that he had analyzed his first paper effort and spent some time in revising the course for the main examination which is slightly different from the advanced examination.

His father Deepak Jindal is a businessman in Kurukshetra. His mother Ritu Aggarwal is a housewife. He has an elder sister Janhvi Mittal who has done MBBS from Shimla. He wants to carry forward computer science engineering from IIT Delhi or IIT Bombay. While he studied for 14 hours a day, he preferred to listen to the songs, especially by listening to Arijit Singh.
Payas Das, who secured Air 80 on the basis of his NTA score, is Punjab toppers as per NTA Toppers list. When he lives from Kolkata, he enrolled in Narayana e-Techno School in Sector 119, Mohali and says that he had shifted to Chandigarh as he heard that it was a good place to prepare for JEE exam. His inspiration is his father, Pratik Das who is also an engineer and his mother Sujata Das is a housewife. He also studied about 13–14 hours a day and preferred to relax by playing football. He says that he is a great fan of the Real Madrid Football Club in Spain.
In Sector 49, Ranveer Singh Vardi, a student of Ryan International School, secured Air 97 on the basis of his final NTA score. His father Surinder Singh, including Vidhi, all in his family, has a background in computer science engineering and he wants to follow his footsteps and pursue CSE from IIT Bombay.
Last year, Vedanta Saini of Bhawan Vidyalaya School in Chandigarh achieved a full 100 percent and air 26. Last year, three from Tricity had estimated the top 100 of JEE Mains, while in 2023 there were four with the building Raghav Goyal of Vidiala, who secured Hawa 20.
The JEE Advanced Exam will now be held on 18 May on the basis of cut-off scores calculated by NTA. JEE Main is applicable for admission to NITS, IIITS and CFTI participating through the Central Seat Allocation Board. JEE is the main examination to get admission in Advanced IIT.
