The “Young Scientist Program” ends on 23 March 2025, a youth organized by ISRO to apply for a special program for school children called “Young Scientist Program”.

According to the official website, the Indian Space Research Organization is organizing a special program for school children, which “Youth Vignine Kayakram”, Yuvika, has provided basic knowledge to young students in growing trends in space science and technology to provide basic knowledge on space technology, space science and space applications. ISRO has excluded the program to “catch the youth”. The program is expected to encourage students to move forward in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) based research /career.
In Yuvika -2025, participants will be selected based on the following parameters:
- Marks received in class 8 exam
- Performing in online quiz
- Participation in Science Fair (School / District / State and above 3 years level)
- Rank or equivalent in Olympiad (1 to 3 rank in school / district / state / last 3 years and above levels)
- Winner of sports competitions (1 to 3 rank in school / district / state and above levels in the last 3 years)
- Scouts and Guides / NCC / NSS members in the last 3 years
- Study in Village / Rural School located in Panchayat area
Important dates:
Registration ends – March 23, 2025
Release of first selection list – April 07, 2025
Reporting by selected students in concerned ISRO centers – May 18, 2025 or students informed by ISRO via registered email
Yuvika Program – May 19-30, 2025
