CCTV cameras should cover all areas of the examination hall – entrance, exit and desk. The board said, all students appearing in the board exams should remain under the surveillance of the cameras.
It added that the cameras should be high-resolution, ensuring visibility of students’ activities and exam content. Cameras should be recording during the examination, and the footage should be safely preserved and easily retrieved for review if necessary.
The board said that only designated examination officials and security personnel are allowed to access the live feed. For every 10 rooms, an observer will be deputed to monitor the footage and report any incidents of unfair instrument practices.
