India has no alternative to being powerful as it is watching ‘wickedness of evil forces “on all its borders, Mohan Bhagwat, the head of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, has said. God also stressed that India should not depend on others for national security.
“There are evil forces in the world who are aggressive by nature,” Bhagwat said in an interview published in the latest issue of RSS-Linked Weekly Magazine OrganizerAs reported by the news agency PTI.
The RSS chief said during a conversation in the RSS background on 21-23 March 2025,
After the Pahgam terror attack on 22 April, an interview was recorded before India’s accurate attack on terrorist camps in Pakistan – India’s accurate attack.
“True power is internal. We should be able to defend ourselves. Nobody should be able to win us, not even when many powers come together.”
Bhagwat also called for unity in Hindu society and made ‘India’ so powerful in military power and economy that “many powers” cannot be ‘victory’ even when coming together. However, he stressed that strength should be combined with qualities and righteousness, as “only cruel power” can be led uninterrupted to ‘clear violence’.
Bhagwat insisted that India should not depend on others for national security. “True power is internal. We should be able to defend ourselves. Nobody should be able to win us, not even when coming with many powers.”
Bhagwat said that work is going on to strengthen Hindu society but it has not been completed yet.
Hindus suffering against atrocities: Bhagwat
“Gradually but of course, that situation is developing,” she said, “This time, the way Hindus have expressed pain against atrocities on Hindus, it is unprecedented. Even local Hindus (in Bangladesh) will now say – we will not run away. We will fight and fight for our rights.”
Underlining the RSS resolution for the next quarter of the century, he said that it is to unite the ‘entire Hindu society’ and take India to the summit of glory, and eventually expand this change to the whole world.
“Hindu society should now wake up. By forgetting partitions and selfishness, we need to shape our personal, family, social and professional life, based on the ‘religious’ values inherent in Hindutva,” he said that in this centenary year of RSS, wishers, thinkers and messages for Hindu society were asked about their message.
Bhagwat said that the RSS is a theory-centered organization with the idea that ‘India is a Hindu nation’ which is inherent in its original functioning.
“We can take inspiration and follow the direction given by great personalities, but in every country-time period (time and status), we should carve on our own path. It calls for a constant conscience between eternal (routine) and what is the state of eternal (routine) and what is in the constant conscience.”
True power is internal. We should be able to defend ourselves. Nobody should be able to win us, not even when coming with many powers.
Bhagwat said that there is “complete freedom” in the RSS to express various and conflicting opinions during the discussion, but once a decision arrives at the creation of consensus, everyone merges with the collective decision and keeps their personal opinion separate.
“Eternal is preserved; develops with transient time, location and reference,” he said.
