We are telling you all this because last Wednesday night a fire broke out in a flat in Noida due to an AC explosion. This is the third incident within a week. There was a blast in the air conditioner on the 17th floor of ‘Eldeco Amantraan’ in Sector-119. The fire broke out at 9 pm and spread to the balcony due to strong wind. The society’s emergency team extinguished the fire, in which two guards were injured. The good thing is that no one was seriously injured.
Quoting society president Nikhil Singhal, Times of India wrote that guard Atul Kumar’s hand was pierced by glass pieces and Devendra Kumar’s leg was burnt. Both were treated and discharged. The guard had informed about this incident through walkie-talkie. The family was evacuated safely and the fire was extinguished in 20-25 minutes.
